With a master’s-level education and over a decade of practical experience, Tenia Skinner brings science-backed programming, functional movement expertise, and a client-centered approach to every training session at Gym Integrity. Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or you’re an older adult focused on healthy aging, Tenia designs training plans that are safe, sustainable, and results-driven.
Tenia became a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) in 2011, and later earned a TRX Suspension Training certification in 2013. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development with a minor in Nutrition from Texas Tech University, as well as a Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in Geriatric Exercise Science from A.T. Still University – Health Science Center.
With academic grounding in human development and aging, Tenia understands how to adapt programs to support different life stages and physical needs. Her passion lies in helping clients improve their functional movement, strength, balance, and overall quality of life—no matter their age or fitness level.
